How to Use:

1. Attach the Foot Secure the Stitch-in-the-Ditch Foot onto your machine.
2. Engage the IDT™ System If your machine has the IDT™ system, activate it for even fabric feeding.
3. Select Your Stitch Choose a straight stitch or another centered-needle stitch, such as the reinforced straight stitch or hand-look quilt stitch.
4. Position the Quilt Place the quilt under the presser foot, ensuring the guide is aligned in the seam (ditch) between pieced quilt patches.
5. Stitch with Precision The center guide of the foot will follow the seam perfectly, allowing you to quilt with flawless accuracy for a clean, professional finish.

Note: When using any Stitch-in-the-Ditch foot with the IDT™ system on machines with a manual presser foot lift, avoid raising the presser foot to the extra high position. Doing so may cause the needle holder to touch the guide on the presser foot, potentially leading to misalignment or damage.
If your machine has the needle set to the down position, lift the presser foot only as much as needed for pivoting. This allows you to freely turn the fabric while maintaining precise stitching without interfering with the presser foot’s guide.
