How to Use:

Creating Piping with Fabric:

1. Attach the Mega Piping Foot on the right side of the needle.
2. Cut fabric strips on the bias or crosswise grain, ensuring they are wide enough to cover the cording with seam allowances included.
3. Place the cording on the wrong side of the fabric strip and wrap the fabric around it.
4. Position the fabric and cord under the Mega Piping Foot with the cord to the left of the foot.
5. Select a left needle position straight stitch and sew.

Tip: When sewing the piping into a project, adjust the needle position so the second row of stitches is slightly closer to the cord, covering the first stitching for a secure hold.

Inserting Piping into a Seam:

1. Attach the Mega Piping Foot on the right side of the needle.
2. Align the piping along the seam line on the right side of the fabric and stitch it in place with the piping to the left of the foot.
3. Position the second fabric piece on top, right sides together.
4. Place the layered fabric and piping under the Mega Piping Foot with the cord to the left.
5. Select a left needle position straight stitch and sew.

Tip: Notch the seam allowance of the piping at curves and corners to reduce bulk and ensure a smooth, flat seam.

Topstitching Piping:

1. Attach the Mega Piping Foot on the left side of the needle. Open the seam and fold the fabric so the piping sits neatly along the fabric edge. Sew along the edge for a clean, professional finish.
