The 9 mm Flat-Felled Seam Foot is perfect for creating strong, durable seams, such as those found in jeans, casual wear, and home décor projects. How to Use:
    Method One:
  1. Snap on the Flat-Felled Foot 9 mm.
  2. Place the wrong sides of the fabric together and overlap the raw edges using the red markings on the foot as a guide. The lower fabric should align with the marking on the right side of the foot, and the upper fabric should align with the right front side marking. (This method results in a double row of stitching on the right side of the fabric. If you prefer a single row of stitching, start by sewing right sides together.)
  3. Stitch the fabric together using a straight stitch.
  4. Press the seam allowance to the left.
  5. Use the guides on the front of the Flat-Felled Foot to fold the wider seam allowance over the narrower seam allowance. Stitch in place using a straight stitch.
      Method Two:
    1. If your pattern includes a 15 mm (5/8") seam allowance, align both fabric layers with the outer right markings on the Flat-Felled Foot as a guide.
    2. Trim 6 mm from the top seam allowance.
    3. Follow step 4 from Method One to press and stitch the seam for a clean, durable finish.
