Easy Lay-in Tension
The lay-in thread tension slots make threading your machine super simple while also giving you greater control over your tension. With nine adjustable tension settings, you will always find the ideal setting for your tread and fabric.
Differential Feed
Even with stretchy fabrics like knits and georgettes, you can easily create professional-level finishes by adjusting the differential feed. This feature allows you to fine-tune how the material is fed through your machine and helps to prevent puckering or distorting. It works by making the front and rear feed dogs move at different speeds. The differential feed is infinitely variable and can be adjusted while sewing.
Adjustable Cutting Width
Whether you want to make a bold statement or have subtle hems, the MO-104D can do it all. To get the perfect loops, you may have to adjust both the cutting width and the tension of the looper threads. Changing the cutting width affects how close your cut edge of the fabric is to the needles, affecting how your stitches look. The adjustable cutting width is handy when working with very thick or thin fabrics, decorative stitches, and more. Cutting widths include: 1 = 3-5mm seam width, 2 = 4-6mm seam width, 3 = 5-7mm seam width.
Color Coded Threading
There are color-coded thread guides throughout the machine that make threading easier than ever. Just follow the colored path to run your thread through the guides and tension discs. Easy-to-see colors eliminate confusion.
Easy Rolled Hems
This feature simplifies the process of switching from normal serging to rolling hems. There is no need to change the needle plate; the roll hemmer is fully integrated into the machine. The edge of the fabric will be automatically rolled over, producing a very narrow, fine seam or hem. Roll hemming is ideal for finishing edges on all fine fabrics, such as evening clothes, lingerie, scarves, and frills.
Adjustable Stitch Length
The stitch length on the MO-104D is easily adjustable with the accessible slider on the inside of the cloth plate. Adjust your stitches from 1 to 4mm millimeters. Most overlock work is done with a basic setting of 2 - 3 mm.
