Follow this step-by-step tutorial to sew this simple yet classic Christmas apron. This project takes less than one hour to complete and is guaranteed to be easy enough for both beginners and professionals.

ITEMS NEEDED:

Along with basic sewing supplies, you will need:
  • "Peace on Earth" Apron Fabric Panel (contains Apron front, 1 neck tie, 2 waist ties, 1 pocket, and bonus items: 4 fabric ornaments for applique or to sew 2 fabric tree ornaments.)
  • Red Thread (we suggest using cotton thread)

STEP ONE:

  • Cut out the apron along the outer edge.
  • Press all edges under 1/4".
  • Turn edges another 1/4" and stitch in place.

STEP TWO:

  • Fold neck tie and waist ties in half horizontally with right sides together.
  • Sew a 1/4" seam on the length.
  • Turn right sides out.
  • Fold the raw edges under and attach the ends to the apron where indicated and sew in place.

STEP THREE:

  • Take the pocket piece and press under 1/8".
  • Turn again 1/8" on all edges and stitch along the first fold.
  • Pin the pocket to the apron front at placement markings and make sure to match pattern lines.
  • Stitch 3 edges of pocket, leaving the top edge open.
  • You are done!
