266 Embroidery Designs: Choose from 266 built-in designs, with 166 of those designs being Baby Lock exclusive; we are sure you will find something to suit your needs, especially with the large 7" x 12" embroidery field. Browse through 12 floral vine alphabet accents and frame patterns, 13 bobbin work designs, 140 frame combinations, and 19 font styles.

Embroidery Capabilities: The Spirit can read embroidery designs with a stitch capacity of up to 500,000 stitches and 125 color changes.

USB Ports: Located on the side of the BLPY are two USB ports: Type A connects with a mouse, Hub, flash drives, and CD-ROM drives, while the Type B port will connect to personal computers.

LCD Color Touch Screen: The LCD touch screen on the BLPY Spirit shows 260,000 colors, measures 7" diagonally, shows the date/time, presser foot, stitch preview, stitch selections, pattern display size, estimated embroidery time, and stitch count. You can also edit your designs on the touch screen. Combine embroidery designs, rotate patterns, mirror imaging, change colors, and shrinking or enlarge designs are just some of the editing capabilities of the Baby Lock Unity.

Sensors: Strategically placed throughout the machine are multiple sensors that control presser foot pressure, and thread tension. An upper and lower sensor to detect when thread runs out or breaks and a hoop sensor that will recommend the size of hoop you should use for a particular design.

NeverMiss™ Automatic Needle Threader: The NeverMiss Automatic Needle Thread on Baby Lock's BLPY does precisely what it says it will do. With little more than a push of a button, you can thread your machine.

Guide Beam: The needle beam highlights the exact needle position on the fabric to ensure perfect design placement when embroidering.

Sensor Pen: Included with the BLPY is a sensor pen that you can use to assign the design positioning and placement. When you touch the fabric with the sensor pen, it sends the data to the machine so it will know where to place the design.

Enhanced LED Stadium Lighting: Never miss a stitch or color with the ultra-bright Enhanced Stadium Lighting. Your embroidery is illuminated 10" around the needle, so you’ll clearly see every detail of your finished design.
